there was this huuuuuge confusion on sunday morning where alot of pple thought that dst turned off (but it hadn't... it turns off next week) because it's usually on the last weekend of march. so alot of electronic devices were automatically programmed to turn back... and HA HA HA the whole world was in chaos.. missed flights, late for work, and the likes... anyway, I'm really looking forward to that extra hour of sleep ha ha

I prefer to take a legalistic stance on Tibet actually. That is, it's China's domestic affair. It's about self-determination v territorial integrity...and darn, potential exam question! Better read up on it.

1) about the crappiest essay i'd written

6) uhhhh the "unhappy incidents" were really funny so mak should tell mingen but wait she told us already at kat's house!!!

7) about Tibet.. does it matter what stance SG even takes?!?!?! we have no choice, we're not making a FREE choice about matters. In truth, I have to say I cannot comprehend vv profoundly what the Tibetans feel, like how the people of Kosovo or East Timor feel... which sucks. But I don't know, if 2000 years later people can make a movie called HERO and put T/ony Leung + Ma/g/gie Che/ung in it and claim that we are indebted to Qin Shih Huang for making China China and not a host of separate states like Europe is today, suffering and all that doesn't really seem to matter does it? I think China's regime is still in that mentality, whilst the West thinks it has progressed to all that human rights etc thing. If you simple look at WHAT Europe and China are it may shed some light on the trenchant cultural differences --> but what have i said here that everybody doesn't know already?!

hmm singapore supports china's stance on tibet don't they? or at least, the apparent attempt to resolve the conflict with 'minimal violence'. i'm minorly pissed over it because they have apparently been trying to block out uk traffic from china, which means i haven't been getting my share of free downloads for the past week.

well i'm actually having my easter break now - although it's more like a study break - and erm the blog address is correct i guess but i passworded it after unhappy events *coughs*. will add you if you give me your wordpress username.

yeah I know choon!! omg! I knew about the stabbings but didn't read the follow up reports when they found out he was lee do/ng g/un's brother! but I just did... OMG! that's like so sad. I mean, whether or not he was his brother, a young life was taken senselessly, and it's so sad. that place is near my church and I often go to the mart in the basement of world tower every sunday! and I've eaten at that Hungry Jack's too...
